I love systems, they streamline the process to frequently traveled destinations. That place could be the accomplishment of a set of houshold tasks, execution of monthly responsibilities, or pretty much anything that takes effort and has to keep occurring. Today's topic is going to be about one of my favorite destinations, and the system I've put in place to get there daily.
Without further ado the "destination" is having all the different areas of my life organized, with an easy management view of the tasks, priorities, goals, and projects I have. Its one of my favorite places to be mentally because I feel the most present and stress free. The system that's gotten to me there has been my yearly planner binder, which includes different catagories in life and various smaller systems. I love it because it puts everything on paper (therefore out of my head), and allows me to then organize, prioratize, and schedule as needed. Let's jump into in more!
System Part 1: Yearly Reflection and Planning

The yearly routine has been a highlight for me the last couple years in December because it's so fun! The first step is picking out your planner for the year, along with the asthetic theme you want. Next, plan some quiet time and do some reflection about the last year. Write down your hilights, the areas you grew in, lessons your learned, and how you feel overal. After that spend some time thinking about what's important to you right now, and what you want to be experiencing in life. I like to set goals because it helps me grow and it's pretty straight forward to track. I also like to set priorities because it helps me keep things in perspective and rememer what's most important. The other thing I do is spend time creating an intention for how I want to be as a person, as a mother, as a sister, as a daughter, as a friend, and in the other variouse rolls I have during the year. After reflecting and writing down everything that I've just explained, the next step is to put it in your planner where you can see it throught the year. The very front page of my planner is a vision board because it's inspiring, asthetic, and seeing it regularly helps me normalizes it as more of a goal and less of a fanticy. I highly reccomed it! Below are some of my yearly planning pages:

System Part 2: Monthly Reflection and Planning
The Monthly system is similar to the yearly system except less extensive. In includes reflection and journaling about the previous month. The main reason for reflection is to learn, have self accountability, and take time to be grateful for things you may have taken for granted. The planning section incluedes some goal and intention setting, but it has a higher emphisis on looking at the whole scope of things going on in life to then schedule, and game plan.

System Part 3 & 4: Weekly/Daily Reflection and Planning
The weekly system is petty much identical to the monthly system execpt it has the most viariance because so much happens. I find it super helpful having a to do list, as well as an overview of my projects and events for the week at a glance. Vision and goals are helpful becaue they give diretion, however action makes things happen. My yearly and monthly systems are necessary, but my weekly system is like my playbook, it's where things get accomplished. In the picture below you can see each day of the week, these spaces function as a schedule and journal. In the back of my binder I have a separate book where I write out each thing I plan to do the next day, and then the day of I cross things off as I go. When I first started my fitness jounrey years ago this was so awsome because my first item was always wake up at 6, and the second was go to the gym which gave me two wins every day as long as I showed up.

System Part 5: Catagoties and Projects
The second half of my binder is dedicated to the specific projects and areas of life that I organize in my planner. I have four sections in my current binder which I'm gonna dive into. The first section holds projects and systems pertaining to home making and caring for my family. I have things like meal plans, shopping lists, and budgeting in this section.

The second section is my finance section where I track my investments, work on my overall plan, and add things that I learn as I grow. The third section is my creative proccess section where I work on my personal persutes such as this blog post or my other business ideas. Whithin this catagories I have different folders and pages for different projects, so I have most things accecable when I want to work on them. The forth section I have is my growth section. I have things like fitness challenges, professional development, mental development, and skills development in this category.

That pretty much concludes my tour of the planner binder system I use. If you enjoy being organized, I highly recommend trying this system out. It's super customizable so you can really make it whatever you want.
Thanks for reading!
With love,
Rosie
